The hotel's decoration was charming and inviting, with cozy touches that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and offered plenty of seating options for relaxation. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent, with ramps and handrails available throughout the property to ensure safety and ease of movement.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there in carrying my luggage to and from my room.

The chalet had everything we needed for our Easter break, with all the amenities provided. the location was ideal, with easy access to a nearby park and ride and plenty of places to visit and things to do in the surrounding area. We especially enjoyed the beautiful views and the convenience of boat and train access to nearby towns and villages.
There were some downsides to our stay. the surrounding properties gave the area a bit of a run-down appearance, which was a bit disappointing.

The chalet was beautifully restored and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the owners were incredibly attentive and provided exceptional service. the location was great for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to boat and train transportation to nearby towns and villages.
The surrounding properties and the road leading to the chalet gave the area a somewhat run-down appearance. It was not possible to walk into town due to the lack of footpaths, so we had to rely on the park and ride or taxis, which added to our expenses.

My recent stay at Bumblebee Villa was good. The villa was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable, providing everything I needed for a home away from home experience. The owners, Debbie and Andy, were friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for things to do in the area. Even in the winter, the Dartmouth area proved to be interesting with its scenic walks, beautiful beaches, and charming market towns. The cooking facilities were great, allowing me to prepare delicious meals with ease. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep after a day full of adventures. Despite a few minor drawbacks, like the tatty appearance of some surrounding properties and the lack of footpaths leading to Dartmouth, the overall experience was fantastic. Dartmouth itself is fine, with its lovely bars, restaurants, and coffee shops, not to mention the amazing views. Bumblebee Villa has been lovingly restored by its owners and offers all the comforts one could ask for. I highly recommend this villa and look forward to returning in the future.
